We are thrilled to announce an upcoming Speaker Presentation from James O’Connor, CEO of Innovation Within. He has previous experience as a principal developer for major corporations like HP and Microsoft where he was instrumental in the evolution of the Mac Office offering.

ACM X ACM-W TECH OLYMPICS
ACM and ACM-W are collaborating to bring you all the "Tech Olympics"! This event is similar to a hackathon but we are changing it up by giving you guys some existing projects to jump off of and let your creativity flow! Projects will be judged and prizes will absolutely be handed out. This event will take place in E2-180 from 6:45 to 8:30 and snacks and beverages will be provided throughout. Whether you're a seasoned programmer or just starting in computer science, the Tech Olympics is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and collaborate with like-minded individuals!

At our workshop, we will show you how to set up Github Pages to create a publicly accessible website hosted by github. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to lean about git and version control!
ACM Intro + Scavenger Hunt

At our intro meeting, you get to meet the officers, learn more about the club, see our fall lineup of events, and participate in a scavenger hunt as a fun social! You can meet fellow UCSC students and have a chance to win some sweet gift cards!
UCSC Grad School Meeting
The ACM Grad School Workshop offered students guidance on pursuing higher education, providing valuable information on the graduate school application process, preparing for standardized tests, and highlighting key considerations when choosing a graduate program to help them make informed decisions about their academic futures.
ACM Hackathon
ACMHacks Unity Hackathon 2023, organized by ACM at UCSC, united students in a collaborative tech event. Participants formed teams, developed projects based on the theme of "Unity," and attended workshops and social events, fostering innovation and camaraderie. This hackathon celebrated the synergy of diverse minds within the tech community.

The UCSC Career Fair Tips and Tricks workshop provided valuable insights on navigating the university's career fair, offering students strategies for networking, resume building, and acing interviews, ultimately helping them make the most of their career fair experience.
